our CO2 emissions

Last Saturday, April 24th, we carried out a solidarity event in the Madrid municipality of Guadalix de la Sierra, in which we planted a forest of 400 trees to reduce the CO2 emissions we produce, thus becoming the first Spanish fashion brand to carry out an action of this magnitude.

Guadalix de la Sierra was the location chosen by our followers to plant our forest. A forest composed of five different types of trees planted by all those attending the event.

A morning of solidarity

The Bombay Sunset Forest has been possible thanks to the collaboration of more than 100 volunteers and followers of our brand who have planted more than 400 trees such as oaks, maples, strawberry trees, junipers and ash trees.

The city council of Guadalix de la Sierra has actively collaborated by providing a green space to host this action.

All those attending the event enjoyed a pleasant morning, always complying with safety measures to ensure a safe event.

At Bombay Sunset we are aware of the impact of our actions and that is why we have decided to carry out this solidarity action that will have a very positive impact on the environment. On average, each person emits 24 tons of CO2 per year and it responsibility of all of us to minimize this negative impact that we are causing on the Earth.

To commemorate the event, we have launched the Guadalix collection, a collection of rings in which each one includes 100 zircons and their designs are inspired by the trees planted in this solidarity event.

The sustainable fashion sector has echoed the initiative and we have had the support of Sepiia and Timpers, thus including two new areas of 50 trees each.

Sepiia, the smart and sustainable fashion brand, has joined this action as part of its strategy to generate a positive impact on the environment. On the other hand, Timpers, a sneakers brand designed by blind people, has also joined the event planting their 50 trees too.
